The covers for Catalyst serve to embody the visual identity that is carried out throughout the magazine. Distorted text is featured throughout these issues to embody the strange and warped effects created in an experiment when a catalyst is added to the mix. The tagline, "A space of convergence for the latest and greatest creators", is repeated and mirrored on itself, converging at the center to emphasize the message being conveyed as well as creating an infinity mark to represent the constant exchange of ideas and inspiration amongst rising creators.
